Baker’s Creek worships using a traditional service focusing on God
through the singing of hymns from The Celebration Hymnal, the reading
of God’s Word from the NIV translation, and expository preaching.
The service includes a children’s sermon and special music.
We celebrate The Lord’s Supper at least once a month. Following the
children’s sermon the kids are invited to attend children’s church.
A nursery is provided throughout the service.
Music Ministry: The Baker’s Creek Choir provides a music ministry
that leads the congregation in the singing of hymns and provides special
music as the congregation prepares their hearts for the reading of God’s
Word. The choir practices every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.
Special Services: Baker’s Creek holds special services during
Holy Week including a Maundy Thursday Service celebrating The Lord’s
Last Supper, Advent and Candlelight services during Christmas. We also
participate in community services at Easter, Thanksgiving, and as a part
of the Greenback National Campground Meetings.
